Order of the Arrow - Kikape Chapter

OA Patch

"The Order of the Arrow is a brotherhood of Scout honor campers. Its purpose is first to recognize those campers who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives, and, by such recognition, cause other campers to conduct themselves in such a manner to warrant similar recognition. Second, to promote scout camping, and develop and maintain its tradition and spirit. And finally, to crystallize the Scout habit of helpfulness into a life purpose of cheerful service to others."

Kikape Chapter, Serving the Canaveral District of the Central Florida Council, BSA, and the Central and Northern Brevard Communities, used to be Woapalanne Chapter and is one of the oldest chapters of the Tipisa lodge.

Venturing

Troop 709 Venture

Troop 709's Venture patrol is in it's early stages. Our boys are working vigorously to set up this great program. It is for young men and women who are 14 (or 13 and have completed the eighth grade) and under 21 years of age. One of our goals is to provide even more great experiences for our young people.

Plans for a canoeing campout are being made but questions about dates and the length of the trip are currently being discussed.
