Hiking
to Santa Fe Lake, February 17, 2007 |

Saturday
February 17, 2007 was a bright but cold morning.
With temperatures in the 20's and a strong north
wind Troop 232 gathered for a day hike to Santa
Fe Lake.

boys enjoy walking south with the wind to their backs.

Much
of the ground was frozen and falling on the ice became a problem
for some, and a game for others.
|
|
|
|
After
hiking over 2 miles the Troop stopped to set up a camp site
and make lunch.

Back
on the trail the Troop stops on the north side of
the lake to get out of the wind.

frozen lake in the background made a great photo opportunity.

After
a long day of hiking the Troop walks the last stretch
back to Roosevelt's house.

|
|
